Mark has been dedicated to helping clients monitor and manage their investments for over two decades. After serving as a financial advisor and former complex manager, Mark moved his financial practice to the Ann Arbor office of A.G. Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, joining his wife, Peg, to form the Stutzmann-Moore Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Financial Services is a second career for Mark. He had his first successful career working in various aspects of the scientific instrumentation business, where he rose to the ranks of executive management.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Education at Western Michigan University. Upon graduation, he served the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and, after his service, returned to his alma mater to pursue an MBA.

A lifelong learner, Mark regularly studies the financial markets, economic cycles and the implications for portfolio management as it relates to a client’s life stage. He is a member of the Investments and Wealth Institute (Formerly Investment Management Consultants Association). Mark maintains the Uniform Investment Adviser series 65, as well as the General Securities Representative Series 7 and Uniform Securities Agent – State Law series 63 registrations and holds insurance licenses in numerous states for life, accident, variable contracts and long-term care.

Mark was born in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in Mexico City. He is both bilingual and bicultural, speaking Spanish fluently. He and Peg currently reside in Ann Arbor, where they enjoy an active life. Mark’s background includes advanced martial arts, semi-professional soccer and teaching Spanish as a second language. He has volunteered for the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team, served on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including Honor Flight Michigan, and currently serves as a board member for Help For Our Disabled Troops. Mark enjoys boating on the Great Lakes, hiking in the mountains, photography of all kinds and playing folk music on the guitar. He is a Christian and avid reader.
