An industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Peg Moore understands the importance of putting her clients’ needs first. Her extensive experience – throughout major shifts in the markets – enables Peg to help her clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial goals. Now a Managing Director - Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors, Peg began her career as a financial advisor in 1990. In 2006, she joined A.G. Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, when she and her husband, Mark Stutzmann, formed the Stutzmann-Moore Wealth Management Group. Prior to entering financial services, she worked in and owned several small businesses. 

Peg holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Education at Michigan State University. With an emphasis on continuing education, Peg has earned the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Retirement Counselor® (CRC®); Accredited Domestic Partnership AdvisorSM and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®). To receive and maintain these designations, Peg had to complete approved educational programs, pass rigorous examinations and meet stringent experience requirements. Peg also adheres to a professional code of ethics, and she fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.

Peg is a member of several industry associations: Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., InFRE® (International Foundation for Retirement Education) and serves as a volunteer ambassador for the Investments and Wealth Institute (formerly Investment Management Consultants Association). She also holds insurance licenses in numerous states for life, accident, variable contracts and long-term care. She is active at the firm level as both an advocate for clients and financial advisors, serving on various committees and program pilots. She speaks nationally for the firm’s women advisor conferences and serves as a mentor for aspiring financial advisors.  She continues to represent Wells Fargo Advisors, through its corporate communications group, in national media interviews and conferences.

Peg was born in Germany and raised in Ann Arbor, MI, where she lives with Mark. Dedicated to helping her community, she is involved in a variety of local organizations. She is currently on the Board of Directors for North Star Reach, a non-profit organization which is a member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network founded by Paul Newman. North Star Reach is a camp that serves children with chronic and life-threatening health challenges free of charge. In addition to being a board member, Peg also sits on North Star Reach’s development committee. Peg is also a member of the Tiffany Circle of the America Red Cross, which provides a forum for women leaders to work together to make an impact on their communities, their nation and internationally through volunteer work and pledging an annual donation to their local Red Cross chapter. Peg’s areas of interest and involvement include helping Veterans, boating on the Great Lakes, practicing yoga, hiking, scuba diving, camping, reading, cooking, spiritual development and women’s issues.
